Kevin first began his counseling and therapy career in 1979, and he has worked in a wide range of private and non-profit settings: hospitals, outpatient clinics, and client home and community-based treatment programs. Most recently he has been working in case and care management, assisting those with significant physical health and psychiatric issues.

Kevin has worked with adolescents and adults with drug and alcohol issues, worked for a foster care agency providing support to children and adolescents, supported a pre-adoption program for a local Atlanta social service agency, coordinated a young adult transition program for those leaving foster care, provided individual, couples, family, and group counseling for profit and non-profit agencies and groups, provided EAP individual, couples, and family counseling and training and support, worked with probationers and parolees with substance use issues, worked as a presenter in two different divorce education and support programs, and provided support to adults in a special needs residential program.

His experiences have been broad, but also intensive, with a focus on addiction; individual, couples, and family issues; significant mental health issues; and physical health issues.

Kevin writes courses for an online Georgia-based continuing education and clinical support company. Kevin is also a published songwriter and musician.
